we've still got 4 months in this phase of the amerikkkan shitshow, but i figured the time is now to get ready for the worst of what might happen afterwards. there's a ton of hyperbole being thrown around but also the threats are very real, so last night i decided to sit down and attempt a sober assessment of what i (and similarly positioned radicals/revolutionaries) might ought to be doing to get ready.

assumptions made for the sake of this exercise:

--trump wins election/becomes pResident (tho many of these threats will likely remain, including all the immediate november--january threats, no matter the outcome or in the event of an uncertain outcome)
--i do not intend to migrate, tho some of my family/friends may need to consider that possibility in the intermediate term; i am better positioned to participate in resistance efforts than many
--this exercise focuses on defensive measures, although offensive action in furtherance of revolt will be of critical importance as well and tools for such should be also acquired now, plans made, and networks built

some of the below mitigations/preparations are at the personal/household levels and others at the affinity group, broader network or community level.
