Lol my roommates brought home 10lbs of carrots so now I'm looking for as many new carrot recipes as I can to use them up.
My friend is teaching me how to skateboard in the cemetery by our place and it is the perfect place to learn to do something I'm terrified of lol
green (tea) nihilism or comic (brownie) pessimism
Holes in fences that are shared between strangers and potential friends who want a shortcut, a quick escape, an inconspicuous route, or entry to a restricted space are always opening up, and then closing. They may go unnoticed for a long time or last only a day, but each one creates their own opportunities and together they form a shifting geography of secret paths through the city.
One leg in the online opiated trance of infinite information, the other in the overgrown wildness beyond the dark forest wall
Wishing an abundant moon on everyone
Just sat in a cemetery while the sun set and watched the bats come out and start zooming around, snacking on stuff.
Anyone have a suggestion for a good introductory text on taoism?
Love that feeling right before a big storm is going to hit and I'm always disappointed when it ultimately doesn't
At a party I am my own. I dance with other klutzy people, our feet exchange blows. Of course, were I a ballerina I surely would be satisfied as well, but I wouldn’t be this I. I am pleased that my disfunction has brought me to such wonderful people. The tight twisting squeezes and nearly terminal separations gesture at where our owns overlap, and tell a story of what’s to come. The moment is mine and theirs also.
The centrality of "attack" in anarchist discourse and it's polar opposite "daily life's" underdevelopment is the leading cause of aging/burning out as well as a major factor in the dissonance of radical life in the 21st century.
We would do well to develop our own pockets of anarchy, and seek to see it in the world, never precluding the necessity of conflictual existence, but avoiding overemphasizing combat in comparison to intellectual pondering and evasion.
Basically anarchy should be clever-er
I think the yarn I used was a bit too thick and I pulled it a little too tight. Guess I'll see whether it's comfortable enough once I wear them on a walk/hike again.
I just tried darning for the first time. I go on a lot of very long walks and find it frustrating how quickly I wear through my favourite pairs of socks.
Just had a garlic mustard and dandelion salad and it was tasty
